Bruce Springsteen turns 67 on September 23, but it's his fans who will be getting a big present for 2016: the release of his 500-page autobiography coupled with a new album. The book — titled "Born to Run" — is set to arrive Sept. 27, four days before the release of its 18-track musical companion piece, Chapter and Verse. The record features five previously unreleased songs that reflect the themes and sections of the book. The compilation kicks off with two tracks from The Boss' high school band, The Castiles, featuring a teenaged Springsteen on guitar and vocals, and winds all the way through to 2012's "Wrecking Ball." The collected songs trace Springsteen's musical history from its earliest days, telling a story that parallels the one in the book. It will also feature recordings from the Steel Mill and Bruce Springsteen Band, featuring musicians who went on to perform in the E Street Band, as well as solo demos of "Henry Boy" and "Growin' Up" that were recorded in 1972, just before Springsteen began work on his debut album, Greetings from Asbury Park, N.J.
